Summary of clip: Joel has decided to have Clementine "erased" from his mind. At the start of the procedure, the "doctors" are putting items that remind Joel of Clementine in front of him as they scan his brain. Parts of his brain "light up" on the scan as he thinks about Clementine.

Connection of flickclip to the concept:A good amount of research has been done on what parts of the brain are active during different types of thought processes. As Joel thinks about Clementine, a certain part of his brain becomes active and is displayed on the scanner monitor. This allows the group to isolate the part of the brain needed to perform the procedure.
