Multiplicity

BadBiology: When the doctor is explaining the cloning process to Michael Keaton’s character, he likens it to Xeroxingâ. Actually, cloning is not like producing a Xeroxedâ copy. In fact, identical twins are actually clones. The doctor ignores the effects of the environment on human development. Thus, it is unlikely that clones as described in this movie would be exact copies of one another. At a more technical level, mitochondrial DNA would be different in the clone compared to the donor thus rendering them different.
