BadBiology: This is a gruesome goof, but when Ichabod Crane cuts into the stomach of the dead pregnant widow, blood spurts out and gushes all over him. Supposedly, the body has been dead a week or more, so the blood should not have spurted. The heart needs to be pumping in order for this to happen.
