Finding Forrester

BadBiology: Pull out your field guides for this one! Look carefully at the bird that Sean Connery declares is an "adult male...Connecticut Warbler." The bird that you see is OBVIOUSLY a Yellow Warbler. Connecticut Warblers have a greenish back and a gray "hood", which is clearly absent on the bird we see in the film. Even if the filmmakers had gotten it right, a Connecticut Warbler wouldn’t be seen on the streets of New York City. They are extremely secretive birds and do not perch in trees, but are ground-dwelling and found only in dense vegetation.
